Unexpected

So you know that moment when you kiss someone you never thought you’d kiss? Yeah, that just happened to me.
So here is the story: One of my best guy friends just got back from Afghanistan an wanted to see me when he was home on leave. We go out last night (which was unplanned) and have dinner and a nice walk and catch up. It was one of those feelings that it couldn’t have been three years since you two last saw each other.  When he dropped me off and walked me to the door I had an urge to kiss him, but didn’t because I’m horrible at telling when people are flirting with me. When I walked inside I wish I had ran out to his car and just kissed him, but didn’t. I instead send him a text asking if it was weird that I wanted to kiss him, he said he wouldn’t have stopped me if I did. We did have plans for the lake today unfortunately he got a call and has to be back at base by tomorrow morning so plans got cancelled. He asks if he can stop by to say good bye and so he does. We end up watching a movie and while watching the movie we look at eachother and kiss. It was surreal and soooo amazing. I am sad he had to leave but now I know he’s liked me since high school. Oh I can not wait to see him on Saturday :)
